The Merry Month of May

I think I'm getting used to the job as a stay at home mom.

I survived a full week with sans the husband.  While he was living the suite life in Vegas, we had our own fun, Viva La Clair Household :-).

 Daddy's home.  I no longer have the stress of being man of the household.  I can  finally chillax.

We had a great week but we missed daddy.  

Daddy missed us as well.  Turns out, Vegas is not a sound financial investment for The Clairs :-).  Though he didn't hit it big, we are proud of his accomplishments!  

Happy Mother's Day

Ry and I are incredibly luck to have 2 mother's to celebrate this Mother's Day!

Mom/Grannie thank you for always being there for me.  Thank you for supporting me through each phase of my life, especially the teenage years. You are the face of compassion and the voice of love. Also, I think it worthy to note, that I never once felt adopted.  That speaks volumes of how you raised me.  I am an incredibly lucky daughter.  Happy Mother's Day!  PS Ry's input is you simply rock (be sure to forward reading suggestions soon).

Gigi thank you for being an amazing mother-in-law.  No horror stories here!  Ry and I joke around and say you are our appointed life coach.  You've helped organize a wedding, cleaned our house, and saved my son from rice crispy treats :-).  Above all, you support, love, and energize.  We love you!  Happy Mother's Day!

What happens at 2 am

Cooper decided to wake us up at 2 am to play.  At least we avoided a middle of the night feeding.

Babies at 9 months should be able to sleep a full night.  Cooper has yet to receive the memo.

It's okay...one day...our teenage son will want to sleep in...that's when mom and dad will have our revenge.
