I must say I am enjoying being a stay at home mom during the Christmas Season.
Even though I am whale size, I find that I have more time to enjoy the festivities.
This is the first year that I was able to shop, wrap, and decorate all 3 weeks ahead of Christmas Day.
Also, I was able to bake for Ry's co-workers and neighbors. I really am enjoying learning how to cook. I'm finally putting wedding gifts to good use.
Life often times seems rushed. Especially, around the holiday's. I feel so blessed that I am able to enjoy the small things. Nothing beats my afternoon walks with Coop. The triumph of Ryan eating and liking my home cooked meal (thank you pinterst). Or the ability to flaunt the fact that my closet is finally more organized and clean than Ryan's.
Family and friends always ask, "do you still like being a stay at home mom?" My answer: Yes! It has been the most rewarding, challenging, and fulfilling decisions I have ever made. It's not right for every mom. In fact most of my friends are working mom's and I am in awe of how they do-it-all. But this decision is right for this mom!
Thank you all who have supported me and my family. I look forward to the New Year!
